It’s definitely Fall?

Hello Farm Friends!

As the chilly weather settles in (or doesn’t?), we’re reflecting on a wonderful season and gearing up for exciting changes on the farm. Here’s a look at our November happenings and updates:

A Great Turnout at Hunterdon County Art Museum!

We had a fantastic day at the Hunterdon County Art Museum this past month. Our booth was bustling with new visitors, and we were thrilled to share our unique, farm-grown items with so many of you! Our alpaca yarn (a favorite for cozy winter projects!), marigold-dyed products, and Gaby’s beautiful, handmade linocuts found many new homes. Thank you for supporting local, sustainable goods! And thank you to NJ Fibershed for hosting an amazing event. For those of you who live far away, we are hoping to put our yarn, hand-dyed products, and artwork online for purchase very soon, so we can ship all over the US! Stay tuned.

Season’s End at Burlington County Farmers Market

Our last market day in Burlington County was October 19th, where we sold our final harvests of eggplant, radishes, pumpkins, and a fresh array of seasonal bouquets. It was a joy to meet with customers one last time this season and share the bounty of our farm. We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back next year with new offerings!

It’s Lola’s favorite day of the week, too!

Learning & Growing at Love n’ Fresh Flowers

This month, we were fortunate to attend a workshop/tour at Love n' Fresh Flowers in Philadelphia with Jennie Love, where we explored sustainable, no-till flower farming techniques. We’re eager to apply some of these insights to our own growing practices. It’s inspiring to see firsthand how eco-friendly methods can create such stunning results!

Looking Ahead: Big Plans for the Farm!

With the season winding down, we’re diving into planning mode. From crop rotations to seed selections, we're laying the groundwork for next season’s harvest. We're also excited to announce a new addition on the horizon—a farm stand! This will be a big step for us, and we can’t wait to offer our fresh produce, flowers, and handmade goods directly from our farm.

Thank you for being part of our journey. Stay tuned for updates, and keep warm with those cozy alpaca creations!

Warmly,

Gaby & Liam
